Chicago Tribune Comes Through for Native Son

The "Printers Row" section of the Chicago Tribune is available only to subscribers, but you can click here to see a preview of the paper's positive and thorough review of Overweight Sensation, the biography of Chicago-born Allan Sherman.

The bottom line?

"lively and meticulously researched"

I'll take it!

It's almost as pithy as Allan Sherman's favorite line in junior high school,

"I shall reward your impertinence by striking you upon the cranium."

Search for Allan Segal, as Sherman was then known.

And that's him in the top row, first on the right.
